PROPOSED RULE CHANGES

 

Batsman retiring at 25

 

We propose that any batsman retiring on 25 runs can only return to the crease if  the batting team have fielded a full side (11 players) unless expressly agreed prior to the start of the game.

 

 

NEW RULE

 

Attendance at League Meetings

 

Teams will be ‘fined’ 5 points for each non-attendance at league meetings.

 

This has become necessary due to the increase size of the league as well as its geographical spread. We have found that communication between the committee and teams is extremely difficult if they are not represented at meetings, the minutes seeming to be insufficient to communicate the business discussed.

 

To assist teams in providing a representative at meetings the committee will in future  arrange all meeting dates in advance of the coming season. The dates already fixed are:-
